Tallangatta Sen-Constable Simon McKenzie said the motorcyclist, 47, from Ulladulla in NSW, lost control of his Triumph bike and came off on the Granya Road at 5pm as he rode from a motorcycle event with a friend.
The rider suffered a head injury, thought to be a concussion, that was not life-threatening and was taken to Albury hospital for observation, Sen-Constable McKenzie said.
He said speed was not a factor and police are investigating whether fatigue or inattention played a part.
