5.15PM: Traffic lights at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Lincoln Causeway in Wodonga have been repaired in time for the evening traffic peak.
A fault had caused the lights to be out of sync for most of the day, with fears the lights would not be fully repaired until 7pm.
VicRoads acting regional director Nathan Mullane said technicians had remedied the fault.
"VicRoads contractors were able to carry out repairs quickly," Mr Mullane said.
"VicRoads and the Police thank the community for their patience during the fault, in particular for observing the changed traffic conditions safely.
'No traffic incidences occurred during the fault."
