Electrical Design and Construction has secured multi-million dollar contracts that will require a $1.2 million expansion of their business.
The company will need to move into a bigger building and purchase extra machinery and equipment to meet demand.
It is set to add 20 full-time positions to its current workforce of 60 full-time workers, including putting on four additional apprentices.
Member for Benambra Bill Tilley announced a $150,000 grant towards the project today.
He noted that the company had considered relocating to Albury but the grant had swayed EDC towards reinvesting in Wodonga.
"This investment is a vote of confidence in Wodonga and regional Victoria as a place to do business," he said.
EDC specialises in large industrial automation projects such as high voltage installers, electrical safety assessments and design, switchboard construction, complex electrical design and turnkey electrical automation solutions.
The company operates across the mining, defence, energy, water, waste, food, packaging and plastics sectors.
