Bad behaviour won’t be tolerated, at track or in city

EDITORIAL:Don't spoil a great day out

HAVING a bad day at the track?

Don’t take it out on others.

Albury police have put drunken troublemakers at the Albury Gold Cup on notice.

“We don’t mind people having a good time,” Inspector Lynelle Rodwell said.

“But we urge people to be responsible for their own behaviour, drink in moderation and be considerate of other people’s behaviour.”

She said there would be a large police presence at the cup and on Albury streets tomorrow night.

“Expect to see a lot of police out and about and behave responsibly,” Insp Rodwell said.

“Don’t spoil your day or anybody else’s either.”
