AFTER arriving by boat to Willowbank in South
Albury, Emma Churchill-Brown was given away
by her mother and father for her marriage to Sam
Plunkett, followed by the reception at the same
venue. Emma wore a Romance was Born designed
gown made by the groom’s sister. She is the twin
daughter of Brendan Brown and Judi Churchill-Brown
of Albury and the groom is the youngest son of Angela
and Des Plunkett of Albury. After a honeymoon
in Sri Lanka, Emma and Sam will live in Albury.

BELINDA Lord wore a Stella York-designed
gown when she married Alex Mackey in a
ceremony held at St John’s Anglican Church in
Corowa. Belinda was given away by her father;
she is the only daughter of Garry and Rhonda
Lord of Corowa and Alex is the only son of John
and Karen Mackey of Woking in the UK. The
celebrations continued at St Leonards Winery
where the reception was held. The couple will
live in Melbourne.

A GARDEN setting on the groom’s parents’
family farm at Eskdale was chosen by Laura
Lomax and Rhys Thompson for their wedding
ceremony. This was followed by the reception
at the Mitta Pub. Laura wore a gown which was
made by her aunty Jean Penna and she was
given away by her brothers, Dennis, Stuart and
Ian Lomax. Laura is the only daughter of Alan
and Kaye-Lea Lomax (both dec) and Rhys is
the youngest son of Matthew and Marianne
Thompson of Eskdale.

CHARLOTTE Rumbold and Boden Westover exchanged
their wedding vows in the presence of friends and family at All
Saints Estate, Wahgunyah. The bride, who was given away by
her father, is the eldest daughter of Luke and Karen Rumbold
of Beechworth and the groom is the youngest son of Alan and
Jenny of Dingley. The reception was also held at All Saints Estate.
Charlotte and Luke will be moving to Dallas, Texas, shortly
after the wedding and they will travel to Europe in July for their
honeymoon.

FRIENDS and family attended the wedding service for
Brianna Kirk and Craig Salzke which took place at St Patrick’s
Catholic in Albury. This was followed by the reception held at
Orange Grove Gardens at Culcairn. Brianna is the eldest daughter
of Jackie and Colin Masterton (step father) and William Kirk
(dec) of Myrtleford and Craig is the youngest son of Pat O’Brien
and Clive Salzke of Albury. The newlyweds will live in Albury.

LISA Knipping and Jesse McInerney were married in the
picturesque, natural setting of Wonga Wetlands followed by a
reception at the Albury Commercial Club. Nephew Zach and
niece Amelia attended the couple as ring bearer and fl owergirl.
It rained after the ceremony but the couple was told this is
a sign of good luck. Lisa wore a Wendy Makin gown and was
given away by her father; she is the youngest of three daughters
and Jesse is the middle child of three boys. The newlyweds will
enjoy their honeymoon at Port Noarlunga.

GYPSY Gardens was the venue for both the
wedding ceremony and reception for Erin Bye
and Jake Bruce. Erin wore a Maggie Sottero
gown and was given away by her father; she is
the eldest daughter of Jan and Graeme Bye of
Albury and Jake is the youngest son of Heather
and Malcolm Bruce of Rennie. The newlyweds
had travelled home to be married in Albury and
will now return to Perth. They will drive around
Australia later in the year for their honeymoon.

TARA Shaw wore a Bella Donna gown for
her marriage to Don Bennett which took place
at the Uniting Church at Milawa. The bride
was given away by her father; she is the only
daughter of Gordon and Elizabeth Shaw of
Christ church, New Zealand and the groom is
the eldest son of Noel and Rosey Bennett of
Bowman’s Forest. Tara and Don will honeymoon
at Vanuatu and Palm Cove and then
settle at Everton. Friends and family enjoyed
the reception at Brown Brothers.

TANYA Reid arrived at Hume Dam in an
original XW GT for her marriage to Rodney
Anderson. She wore her nanna’s gold nugget
brooch and was given away by her brother Andrew
and son Lachlan. The bride is the eldest
daughter of Debbie and Andrew (dec) Reid of
Howlong and the groom is the only son of Barry
and Diane Anderson of Jindera. The reception
was enjoyed by all at the Manor House, Albury.
Tanya and Rodney will live in North Albury after
they return from their honeymoon in Tasmania.

DURING the service at St Patrick’s Church in
Albury, rings were presented to Melissa Jacobs
and Antonio Garro by the bride’s grandparents
who have been married for 67 years. The
bride’s father gave her away and he sang while
the register was being signed. Melissa is the
youngest daughter of Graeme and Aileen of
Maryborough, Victoria and Antonio is the youngest
son of Guiseppe (dec) and Tina of North
Fitzroy. The reception was held at Huon Hill Tavern,
Wodonga. The couple will live in Lavington.
