Detective Leading Sen-Constable Jason Frost said this morning investigators were still trying to determine whether the fire was deliberately lit.
Firefighters were called to the converted shed on Bryne Street at 5.15pm yesterday.
Sen-Constable Frost said there was no structural damage to the bungalow, but the fire caused moderate damage to the interior.
