Sgt Geoff Still said a 20-litre can of petrol, a Stihl chainsaw and a Stihl power blower were taken from a shed on the northern side of the course, which is hidden from view of the Balaclava Road.
Sgt Still said the break-in happened between 6pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday when thieves unscrewed the shed's tin sheeting and bent it back to gain access.
He asked anyone who saw anything on the night or has any information to phone Beechworth police on (03) 5728 1032.
"We want help to find this property," he said.
