Tasmanian men Tim Blair and Shane Taylor reached Holbrook last night having already completed more than 310 kilometres since leaving Melbourne on Friday.
The pair crossed the border at Wodonga yesterday, having run from Wangaratta.
Mr Blair has raised thousands of dollars for Tasmanian children and their families battling with cancer.
Their Bluff to Bondi Challenge will result in them running 960 kilometres in just eight days.
Mr Blair has since set up his own foundation called Tim Blair — Run for Kids, with the aim of raising $100,000 for the foundation, which is aligned with the Kids’ Cancer Project.
“We have had a pretty good trip so far despite having to take the long way around and not running on the Hume Freeway,” Mr Blair said.
After running 86 kilometres yesterday, the pair were sore.
Mr Blair has a possible stress fracture of his lower left leg and Mr Taylor is suffering from heat stroke.
