Tim Blair and Shane Taylor again pushed through, punching out another 60km to their overnight halt at Goulburn.
Mr Blair spent most of the night with ice on his injured leg and came out yesterday full of confidence.
It was a much better day then the previous one after Mr Blair had elected to have his injured leg seen by a doctor.
While there was no damage to the leg, the doctor asked him to modify his approach to each day.
"Today was good but done with a fair bit of pain but also with a fair bit of peace," Mr Blair said.
"I have accepted the fact that this is what it is and I hope I haven't disappointed anyone or let anyone down."
It was a bitter pill to swallow for Mr Blair, who was faced with the prospect of not being able to complete the challenge he set for himself.
Sitting in the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, Mr Blair said he was angry with himself after realising he wouldn't be able to complete the 960km journey he set out to do.
"I'm still determined to give the Kids Cancer Project a cheque for $70,000 by the end of all this," he said.
Mr Taylor and Mr Blair will next stop at Mittagong, on the outskirts of Sydney.
