Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey need a reality check if they think hard working Australians are going to agree to fund maternity leave, unemployed layabouts and rich, retired politicians by turning up for work until they are 70 or drop dead from exhaustion, whichever happens first.
Leave the most vulnerable alone; aged and disabled are easy targets for cuts when the leaders of this country run out of intelligent ideas for funding extravagance and overspending.
