ANZAC DAY: Good cause with two-up

TWO-up players didn’t mind losing their bets yesterday as all the profits were going to Legacy.

But that doesn’t mean customers at Morven’s Roundhill Hotel didn’t enjoy the rush of seeing two heads appear.

“We have been running two-up for the past four years and always get a big turn out,” publican Jo Kollard said.

“Everyone’s been very generous, for such a small place we usually raise about $800.”

Ringmaster Dick Shanahan had many $50 bets come his way.

“Everyone’s having a crack and there’s been many $50 notes flying around,” he said.
