The gala day will launch the MiniRoos season, formerly known as small sided soccer, with teams from either side of the river and from outlying districts including Yackandandah set to play from 10am.
The age groups involved cover boys and girls born between 2003 and 2009.
Organiser Leonie Yates said the program continued to grow.
“They have different numbers of players as they get older and goalkeepers aren’t involved initially but come into the game after the under 8s,” she said.
“All the clubs are involved, it is just a matter of giving them a call.”
The following week MiniRoos will be at Wodonga Diamonds’ La Trobe University ground in the morning and Jelbart Park in the afternoon.
