A slow start from the home side saw the Gators jump to a 27-14 lead and left the Bushrangers playing catch-up for the rest of the game.
The Lady Bushrangers would be left to rue some disappointing outside shooting that saw them connect on just two of 17 attempts from three point territory. While a lopsided foul count would see three Bushrangers foul out and end up sending the Gators to the foul line 48 times.
Rachel Jeffery was again a standout for the home side, finishing with 23 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Jessie Smith was a rock down low with 9 points, 10 rebounds and Alana Sutton solid again with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
The North East Bushrangers suffered their biggest defeat of the season, 84-41 at the hands of a slick Shepparton Gators side.
A shabby first half saw the Bushrangers turn the ball over 14 times and allowed the Gators to hold a decisive 47-15 lead at the major break.
Coach Jacqui Henry did all she could to fire her troops up for the second half and it would prove to be a much better showing from the young squad.
