A PARAPLEGIC North Albury motorist has been left without a car after thieves stole a modified Commodore from her driveway overnight.

Karen Pereira said her partner found the car missing this morning from the driveway of her Union Road home.

She said the car had modified controls that allowed her to drive it and they would be noticeable to the thieves.

The 2001 Commodore is a gold VX SS model with NSW number plate AQM-75J.
