Ross had a 31-23 victory on his home green against Commercial Club’s David Barnes.
Barnes had a preliminary round 32-12 victory against Ken Allen (Lavington Panthers) and a 32-11 semi-final success against Walla’s Feargal o’Hearcain.
Howlong’s Phil Slater won his preliminary game against Culcairn’s David Moore 31-26.
But Slater found Ross too consistent in their semi-final as he established a 15-6 lead after 13 ends.
The final winning margin by Ross was 31-20.
It took 30 ends to decide the final and Ross established handy breaks a couple of times only to see Barnes fight back.
Ross was leading 13-6 after 11 ends, but Barnes won six successive ends and edged ahead 17-13.
The next four ends were won by Ross and he got 10 shots, including a maximum four on the 21st end for a 23-17 lead.
Barnes got back to level the scores at 23-all, but Ross won the next six ends to seal victory.
The champion of champion pairs will be played this weekend at the Lavington Panthers greens.
