More than 1000 screaming tweens and parents crowded a makeshift stage at Myer Centrepoint to see the 2010 Australia’s Got Talent winners.
They performed their No. 1 single Que Sera, along with other hits including Boom Boom and Best Night.
“It’s the best performance we’ve had for the year,” band member Len John Ruela Pearce said.
“Even though they weren’t the biggest crowd, the energy from this size crowd was really good. The vibe was amazing.”
Ruela Pearce said their favourite shows were in regional towns.
“All the regional towns that we’ve been to have the best vibe,” he said.
“Because they don’t get to see many (music acts), they show their appreciation.”
Maddy Anderson, 8, Lavington, who had climbed up a pole to get a better view, said she had screamed when learning her favourite band was coming.
“Because, they are really, really good singers and they are awesome to watch and make such good music,” she said.
“It’s really good, they make it so loud.”
Her friend, Taylor Donela, 10, of Wodonga said they’d been watching videos of the band all morning.
The six-piece band includes twins John and Len Ruela Pearce, Lukas Bellesini, Paul Eric Merciadez (who couldn’t attend), Samson Cosray Smith and Solo Tohi.
