BUNNINGS Wangaratta is growing with a $1 million expansion to its Tone Road store.

The temporary fencing has gone up as contractors 4 Dimensions Building started work on the upgrade, which is expected to be finished within months.

The work includes exp-anding the area from 5000 square metres to just over 6000 square metres.

A canopy over the nursery area, as well as the extra floor space, will all-ow for more products to be offered in-store.

That includes a wider range of timber options and more quantities for bulk purchases.

Bunnings Wangaratta store manager Andrew Orzeszko said Bunnings was pleased to upgrade the store.

“We’ve been part of the Wangaratta community for more than three years and we’re looking forward to bringing an even better store with the latest home improvement and outdoor living products at the lowest prices,” he said.

The existing store will continue trading through the upgrade period.
