WANGARATTA has been stripped of its round 6 victory over North Albury in the thirds after fielding an ineligible player.
The match, played at Norm Minns Oval on May 17, saw Wangaratta breach an agreement with Wangaratta and District Junior football league.
The Pies, who won the match by a whopping 110 points, played a junior on permit more than the allowed five times.
AFL Victoria appeals committee hit Wangaratta with three sanctions.
The result was reversed, the Pies lost all points from the game and were fined $500, $450 of which was suspended until the end of next season.
