That’s the attitude Tocumwal is taking into Saturday’s showdown with Jerilderie, according to Bloods coach Daniel Kirchen.
Tocumwal faces the biggest test in the Picola North West league this weekend.
Jerilderie remains a warm favourite to win a hat-trick of premierships this season, despite suffering its first hiccup of the season against rival Strathmerton a fortnight ago.
With Jerilderie fresh after a bye, Kirchen expects an onslaught but he believes the Bloods can withstand it.
“There’s no reason why we can’t push them as long as our effort and attitude is there,” he said.
“It’s the perfect chance for us to have a go and see where we are at.
“You never know.
“We’ve been in pretty good form.”
