The ring was found in the East Albury IGA car park by a Thurgoona resident.
Sophie Wallace lost the ring after placing it in her handbag and believed she had lost it near the supermarket.
Ms Wallace and her partner, Alex McCallum, did not want to talk about the matter last night.
However, she posted online that the story had “a happy ending”.
