A DRUNKEN visit by prominent Border footballer Darren Bradshaw to his former partner led to him being charged with three offences by police.

Bradshaw mouthed a message he would get her as he made a cut throat gesture with his right hand while she was phoning the police for help.
A short time later she received a text message from him saying he was going to kill her.
It happened about 1am on July 6 at the home of his former partner, who has been separated from him for two years after an eight-year de facto relationship.
When police arrived, the victim was shaking and on the verge of tears.
Three days later Bradshaw attended the police station and, when offered the opportunity of an interview, told officers: “No, I was too drunk and don’t remember what happened.”
Bradshaw, 33, of Vickers Road, Lavington, pleaded guilty in Albury Local Court yesterday to charges of entering inclosed lands, damaging property and intimidation.
Magistrate Tony Murray granted a 12-month apprehended violence order for the victim’s protection, but adjourned sentencing for police to get Bradshaw’s updated criminal records from Western Australia and Victoria.
Mr Murray was told Bradshaw had two outstanding warrants from Western Australia, which were issued last year.
Bradshaw, a former Ovens and Murray premiership player with Wodonga and Doug Strang Medallist for the league’s leading goalkicker, was banned from all pubs and clubs in WA in 2010 after he bit a man’s ear in a drunken brawl at a Kalgoorlie restaurant.
He was handed a five-year prohibition order by the director of liquor licensing, banning him from entering any licensed venues in that state. He did not challenge the ruling.
Bradshaw pleaded guilty to several charges relating to biting off part of the ear of an off-duty security officer.
Surgeons were unable to re-attach the ear.
He has since kicked more than 100 goals in a season in the Hume league and is now playing for Tallangatta league club Dederang-Mt Beauty.
Bradshaw went into the backyard of his former partner’s home, attempted to remove a flyscreen from a bedroom window and banged on it.
The victim went to the window, saw him staring at her and calling her names.
She told him a number of times to leave and he twice punched the window before going to a patio area, where he made the throat gesture to the victim before leaving.
The case has been adjourned by Mr Murray until August 18.
