LIVE RADAR: Wild weather warning for North East

NORTH East residents are being urged to take care with damaging winds and rains predicted over the next few hours. 

The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning at 5.10pm, with wind gusts up to 90kmh forecast. 

Showers, thunderstorms and hail is also forecast. 

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:

Move vehicles under cover or away from trees.

Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.

Keep clear of fallen power lines.
