Six points clear at the top of the ladder, two wins in the last five rounds will seal the deal for the Wanderers.
And that task starts tomorrow with the local derby against Wodonga Diamonds at Kelly Park.
Wanderers coach David Afonso downplayed the cross-town rivalry.
“As much as we can we want to treat this as a normal game,” he said.
“We have four games to go, most of those at Kelly Park.
“If we can, we want to wrap this up in the next two weeks, celebrate and get on with preparing for the cup finals.
“We have a full list to choose from with the exception of James Coutts, now it is up to us to go out and there and perform.”
Diamonds go in with no clearer idea of their line-up and dealing with a massive injury list.
Coach Jimmy Bell said despite a week off with the bye many of their injured players remained in doubt.
“We have been indoors for the past two weeks, so that doesn’t help training and getting people back,” he said.
“But Tuesday was the best we have trained for some time and if you can’t get up for a local derby, you are playing for the wrong club.
“But I’d expect I will be shuffling the players on Sunday morning to deal with who can and can’t play, which has been pretty much par for the course this year.”
Twin City star Zac Walker could be a late withdrawal after suffering a leg injury at work.
