“There should be a reduction in input costs, so long as the energy companies pass it on in relation to electricity costs,” he said.
“The reductions to input costs by getting rid of the carbon tax should be significant.
“It must also be remembered it was going to cause a rise in diesel fuel costs.
“It is a big win for the government as well, because they have not had a good record so far; they have not been able to achieve a lot (for the agriculture sector).”
