The Lady Bushrangers tasted defeat early in the afternoon when Coburg broke their three-game winning streak with a massive 103-71 victory.
A 32-point third term from the Lady Giants blew the game wide open after a competitive first half.
Turnovers proved costly for the North East outfit.
Rachel Jeffery starred in defeat, scoring 27 points and hauling in eight rebounds in an impressive display.
Stacey Browne (11 points) and Holly Bawden (10 points) also contributed.
Things didn’t get any better later in the day, with the men also suffering a hefty defeat at the hands of the Giants.
Coburg won 92 to 74.
The Giants got the jump on the Bushrangers early, leading by 10 points at quarter-time.
They were rarely troubled from that point.
Josh McKay (18 points and nine rebounds), Dylan Webb (17 points) and Jon Lindhe (13 points) were the Bushrangers’ best.
