Wodonga police spotted a car being driven dangerously on the Hume Highway near Barnawartha about 2.15am on Saturday and pulled it over.
They said the driver, 19, when questioned, had told them that there were tablets hidden in the packet on the floor of the car.
Police also found a vial of liquid — believed to be GHB — in a pair of jeans on the back seat.
The driver, who was arrested and charged with drug offences, has been bailed and will appear in Wodonga Magistrates Court on September 9.
Wagga police have also charged a man with drug offences.
They raided a Forest Hill house, about 10 kilometres east of Wagga, about 11am on Friday and seized cannabis, methamphetamine, and property believed to be stolen.
A man, 26, charged with trafficking, was refused bail in Wagga Local Court on Saturday.
He will appear again today charged with five charges involving the supply and possession of drugs and having property suspected of being stolen. Police are still investigating.
