We all think we can negotiate, but it’s a skill that needs developing and practice. You don’t need to adopt an adversarial approach to negotiating. If you don’t try to grind every last cent or concession out of the person you’re dealing with then you’ll preserve your relationship and they’ll be happier doing business with you again.
