ON Wednesday about 3pm I returned some books to Wodonga Library.

At the main entrance there were 15 rowdy people aged 16 to 20, arguing and swearing, extremely loudly.
When I went into the library I asked the staff if they could phone the police to report the offensive behaviour.
The staff obviously didn’t want to get involved.
So when I left, I drove around to the police station to report the incident.
However, when I drove into Hovell Street there was a police car with flashing lights that had pulled a car over, opposite the library.
All the troublemakers had disappeared.
Is it possible to get a long-term solution to this ongoing problem?
Can we get a security camera mounted there to identify the size of the problem and the culprits?
