Schools, offices and businesses will wear their denim to raise money for research into birth defects, cancer, epilepsy and other genetic disorders.
Students at Osbornes Flat Primary School got a head start yesterday and have already raised more than $100 for the cause.
People are encouraged to offer a gold coin donation or purchase merchandise from participating business outlets including Jeans West, HCF, Lowes, Big W and Sam’s Warehouse.
Donations can be made by visiting jeansforgenes.org.au or calling 1800 436 437.
