It’s almost impossible to imagine Matron Grace Wilson singing in a band called Vinyl Discharge. It’s a little easier to imagine Sergeant Tess Gallagher (Blue Heelers) or Detective Jacqui James (Underbelly) having past lives as rock chicks, but definitely not the thoughtful, efficient, loving leader of the nurses who cared for the victims of England’s mad attempt to invade Turkey in 1915.
