The 2-2 draw with Albury United put them in second spot, a point behind Wodonga Diamonds but with a game in hand.
Boomers will play the catch up game against bottom-placed Wangaratta on Sunday, not long after playing third-last St Pats.
Two wins would give them a two-point buffer on Diamonds with a game against defending Cup champions Albury City in the last round.
Boomer Keira Hayes said she was told they had equalised but couldn’t remember it.
“I got a knock to the head in a contest in the box and suffered concussion,” she said.
“So I was on the sidelines for the end of the game and can’t remember much at all.”
