A MAN and woman were arrested in Wagga early yesterday morning when police allege they were caught trying to flee a Kmart store with two trolley loads of goods including toys and a lawn mower.

The pair are alleged to have gained access at 12.37am through the rear door of the store.
The key holder of the Berry Street store arrived at the scene, after the alarm went off and sighted the man hiding behind a dumpster in the rear dock area.
Sgt Geoff Gray said police were called and attended the scene, where they apprehended the two offenders.
Police arrested a man, 40, who was in possession of two trolley loads of products.
The woman, 34, fled the scene on foot, but was arrested nearby on Berry Street. The man has been denied bail while the woman has been granted conditional bail.
