Five swimmers — Heath Macleod, Euan Macleod, Morgan Morffew, Olivia Plunkett and Matthew Whitehouse — made the trip down the highway this month and returned with some fantastic results.
Heath Macleod broke the Victorian record for the 200-metre under-14 boys breaststroke, narrowly missing the record for 100 metres.
Euan Macleod competed in six events and cracked the two-minute barrier for the first time in the 200-metre freestyle event.
Whitehouse competed in three events and achieved personal bests in all three swims.
Plunkett and Morffew also recorded personal best times in their events.
Sarah-Jane Male and Natalie Gibbons, from GT Aquatics, also competed at the event.
They all now have their eyes on the Victorian Country Short Course Championships to be held at Shepparton this weekend.
