MATTHEW Walker is on the cusp of a unique double.
The CDHBU junior is leading the goalkicking in both the under-14 and under-17 competitions in the Hume League.
Walker, 14, was only added to the under-17 squad as the season progressed.
One Week was told the prodigious talent brought up a century of goals in the hectic last quarter of Saturday’s under-17s game against Holbrook.
Going into the final round of the home and away season he has 53 goals in the under 14s and has 48 goals in the under 17s.
Walker’s best bags include six against Lockhart in the under 17s and seven goals in the games against the Rand-Walbundrie Tigers and Culcairn in the under 14s.
