BILL Tilley, when will you start representing the people of your electorate over our rail service?

On the weekend my daughter and her two girls travelled to Melbourne by rail.
At 7am Saturday they arrived at Wodonga station to hear an announcement that the buffet car would not be operating — no breakfast and a hungry trip to Melbourne.
Then coming home at lunchtime on Monday they were shunted onto a bus because of some mechanical problem with the train.
How can you defend this?
Everyone in this region knows it would not be allowed to happen on services to Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong or even Gippsland.
Your own government is treating you and the people of Benambra as fools.
Enough is enough.
The time has come for you to insist the service be fixed.
Enough excuses about staff and mud holes.
Just insist these inexcusable problems are fixed and the people who voted for you get a decent rail service.
