The premiership fav-ourite is unbeaten this season and, in a major boost, will regain Scott Sanderson, Matt Clark and Doyle for this second semi-final against Katamatite.
“It’s when you want to have everyone available,” Doyle said.
“Obviously, we hope our best footy is in front of us.
“But I think it needs to be. We need to get better, or we’ll get caught.
“Katamatite was impressive on the weekend.”
Doyle said the Tigers — who smashed Rennie by 55 points in last Saturday’s qualifying final — would provide stern opposition.
He said the Bears needed to lock down from the opening bounce.
“We really need to clamp down on them at the contest,” Doyle said.
“Their clearance work was good.
“They blew Rennie away in that second half.”
Rennie will fight for its season in Sunday’s knockout first semi-final against Katandra.;
