A job interview can be one of the most stressful and intimidating ways of making a first impression, however it's also your one opportunity to gain an edge over other applicants, including those whose credentials are better than yours. An employer's intent during an interview is simple; they want to know why they should hire you? It's your responsibility to convince them that you're the greatest candidate for the position, and in any interview, the key to optimal success and a winning edge is competence. Confidence will then naturally follow.
