The Roos raced to an early lead and refused to hand it back with Ruby and Catherine Svarc playing key roles for the victors.
Coach Beck O’Connell was delighted to come out on top.
“It’s the first time we have beaten North Albury this season so it was a good effort,” O’Connell said.
“We made a strong start and kept the pressure up throughout the match.
“The girls didn’t slacken off at all.
“Hopefully we can back it up next weekend.
“Everyone is playing well so we’re looking forward to it.”
North Albury rallied several times during the elimination final through Kimberly Opdam and Emma Schulz but lacked the support to get in front.
Shooter Jess Fisher-Curnow finished with 24 goals.
