Wilson, who starred for Wangaratta Rovers in Sunday’s elimination final, has been a constant fixture in the Hawks’ team this year and has added plenty off a wing and half back.
Vescio, who shared the Leo Dean award with Yarrawonga’s Damon Symes last season, played 17 senior games for the Magpies this year and finished with 19 goals.
The classy young midfielder improved as the season went on, bobbing up with three crucial goals when Wangaratta stunned its arch rival in the round 14 derby.
Wilson and Vescio join James Svarc (Corowa-Rutherglen), Josh Minogue (North Albury) and Mitch Dalbosco (Myrtleford) in the running for the award for the league’s best youngster.
To be eligible, players must have played at least five games in the thirds last year.
