The Flying Fruit Fly Circus yesterday flew out for their Control Alt Delete Australian tour.
The 16 Fruit Flies will blow into Brisbane before tackling Cairns, Taree, Dubbo, Gosford, Tamworth, Orange, Wagga and Griffith.
Jordyn Klingsporn, 16, who was looking forward to her first flight, said she expected the tour to be an experience she wouldn’t forget.
“We hope people enjoy the show and appreciate all our effort,” she said.
The Fruit Flies return to the Border on October 9 and will keep up with their school work while on tour.
Artistic director Jodie Farrugia said the performers were an inspiration to the nation’s young people.
“The Border should be proud of what these young people achieve and what they’ll share with the country,” she said.
