NORTH Albury has re-signed a host of key players, with livewire Jarrah Maksymow, Rising Star Josh Minogue and young gun Kristian Cary just three of a handful of Hoppers to re-commit next season.

In a huge boost for the club, almost all of North Albury’s senior list has signed on for next year.
Maksymow took out the Hoppers’ best and fairest recently after booting 59 goals in a break-out season at Bunton Park that earned him interleague honours.
Minogue, 17, won the award for the league’s best young player after the talented key forward booted 31 goals in his first season in the seniors.
Cary also stressed his star qualities with several impressive showings in the midfield.
Rory Feltwell, Tom Holman, Ryan Polkinghorne, Clay Moscher-Thomas, Liam Butler, George Godde, Wylie Harrington, Alec Sullivan, Zac Gallaway and Lindsay Musgrave have also signed.
“It’s very exciting for the club,” coach Jason Akermanis said.
“It’s the highest player retention rate the club has had.
“We’re also excited by the prospect of continuing our development with new signings we hope to lock away in the next couple of weeks.”
In more good news, Hume league ace Kylin Morey has returned to Bunton Park after back-flipping on his decision to join the Hoppers this time last year.
Morey, who was best on ground with eight goals in last year’s Hume grand final, opted instead, to spend another season with Brock-Burrum this year.
He booted 53 goals for the Saints in 16 games but has now decided to have another crack at the Ovens and Murray.
Akermanis, refused to talk about his date with the league’s independent tribunal after the 2001 Brownlow medallist was charged with unbecoming conduct following an AFL Victoria investigation.
“I can’t talk about anything else,” Akermanis said.
He will appear at the tribunal on Tuesday.
It is alleged the former Brisbane Lions’ star repeatedly abused AFL North East-Border umpire development manager Mark Bywater this season by email and by text message about umpiring issues.
