The club has secured state government approval for a public holiday to coincide with the race meeting for the same period.
The switch of public holidays from the Melbourne to Wodonga cup has resulted in a 75 per cent surge in marquee sales.
Racing Wodonga general manager Tom O’Connor said the involvement of Telstra for an undisclosed sum would help deliver a premier event day for Wodonga on Novermber 28.
Telstra Albury Wodonga Stores and Business Centre owners Bob and Barbara Toal agreed.
“Racing Wodonga is heading in a great direction,” Mr Toal said.
The Bachelor’s Laurina Fleur and Sophie Van Den Akker will be on course to drive fashions on the field.
