Under its management, the cafe has been a huge asset to the park while the trees have also been a great asset to Noreuil and for a much longer time.
It is disappointing to think in this day and age that a design could not be adapted to retain the tree — other cities appear to do everything to protect and enhance the beauty of their established trees.
They are regarded as an asset.
No matter how many trees the council plants, nothing can replace the existing amazing tree.
