Mrs Corbett grew up with eight sisters and two brothers.
Her surviving siblings — six sisters — met in Wodonga yesterday for a family reunion.
“I would hate to be a single child — it would be too lonely,” Mrs Corbett said.
“We always had someone to play with.
“You were never lost for a playmate, never alone.”
Mrs Corbett said her sisters had “moved all over the place” since their childhood days in Gippsland and that sometimes made catching up with them a little tricky.
“We all wanted to get together,” she said.
“Nearly everyone has a birthday from June to December, so it was a good opportunity to all catch up.”
