I have no problem with that, it is similar to our Grace.
According to the Koran, if it is haram (unblessed), a blessing by the user in the name of Allah will make it halal.
However, for some reason, the government in its wisdom in the 1980s allowed Islamic certification of our food and goods.
For this to happen, the companies have to pay thousands of dollars per year which is added on to the cost of the product.
This money is paid to the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils and, in return, companies are allowed to put an Islamic logo or insignia on their products.
This logo indicates to the Muslim that the goods have been blessed.
This money, millions, trillions around the world, supposedly goes to build mosques and schools.
As no tax or audit is applied to money obtained in this way, it is thought that most of it finds its way overseas.
Australians need to be aware that they are now paying a halal “tax” on most of their food and goods.
- Four major dairy companies
- 75 per cent of poultry suppliers
- More than 60 per cent of abattoirs processing sheep
- More than 60 per cent of abattoirs processing cattle
- General companies like Nestle, Kraft , Cadbury, Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and many more.
It is becoming more and more obvious every day that it is a scam to extort money from Australians.
Coopers Beer (Muslims don’t use alcohol), Purina cat food, (surely they are not eating pet food) and the latest is plastic packaging (Scholle Industries)!
