Michael Kilpatrick, 24, and Jesse Drechsler, 21, appeared before Wodonga Magistrates Court yesterday on charges of intentionally causing injury.
It is alleged the pair were involved in the stabbing of a 28-year-old man in Wodonga’s Les Stone Park about 9am on May 6.
Their arrests bring the total number of accused in the incident — where the victim was set upon by a group in hoodies and punched, kicked and stabbed — to five.
Kilpatrick, of Swan Street, Wodonga, was charged on Wednesday while Drechsler, of De Kerilleau Drive, was charged last week.
Both are on bail and were ordered to reappear before the court on November 13 for a committal mention.
Two of their co-accused — 18-year-old Kaitlyn Peachey, of Lavington, and Mark Seymour, 25 — have also been ordered to reappear at court on the same date.
The fifth co-accused, 21-year-old Joseph Walker — who appeared via videolink yesterday in relation to separate matters — will face a committal hearing on April 1.
