The meeting, which coincides with the bumper Caulfield Cup in Melbourne, attracted more than 2000 people to the course last year — the biggest crowd in more than a decade.
It has become the club’s third biggest meeting behind Boxing Day and the Wodonga Cup.
The club is holding a promotion for sporting clubs enjoying end-of-season celebrations.
For $28 patrons can access the deck enclosure and it also includes entry, two free drinks and DJ entertainment.
“There has been plenty of interest in the promotion and we already have over 150 booked in for the deck with patrons still able to turn up on the day and gain access,” club manager Tom O’Connor said.
“This year’s Melbourne Cup will also be on course with Des Gleeson and John Russell.
“We will also be holding our Border Ovarian Cancer celebrity race which was a huge success last year and raised more than $15,000.”
Also for the first time in six-years, Carlton and United Breweries products will be available.
“Our contract with Lion has expired and for the first time in six years, so we will also stock Carlton and United products,” he said.
“It’s an area that has been highlighted to us by our members through surveys.
“We are in the customer service industry and we want to be able to grow our membership so we are listening to our members.
Gates open 11.30am with the first race of six at 2.12pm and the last at 5.12pm.
