Organiser Tony Smead said the event, which is in its second year, would hopefully attract about 4000 people.
“We’ve learnt a lot from the first one,” he said.
“We hope to finetune things and make it a better event for the public.
“It should be a good family day out.”
Autofest is open to all cars and motorbikes, with awards for the most popular vehicles.
“Last year we had 105 cars and 2000 people, and this year we hope to get about 200 cars and about 100 bikes.”
The event will also have a serious message, with safety and education exhibits from Albury TAFE, Wodonga TAFE, and the Driver Education Centre of Australia on display.
Several car clubs will also attend.
Autofest will be held at Border Christian College at 429 Elizabeth Mitchell Drive, Thurgoona, on October 26.
