The team finished runner-up at last year’s carnival and coach John Hayes hopes it can go one better.
Maddi is a member of New City’s under-16s line-up while Tahlia plays under-14s for Rutherglen.
The pair also play for the North East Knights.
“There is good representation across the state,” Hayes said.
“Selection is becoming more difficult as more girls come through our system.
“We have a well-balanced line up that is capable of making big scores.
“It has the ability to occupy the crease and increase the run rate when required.
“Our bowling has good penetration with eight medium-to-fast bowlers along with two leg-spinners and an off-spinner.
“We have also ensured we have a strong fielding team with girls who have the X factor in the field who can do something special when needed.”
The championships will run from November 26 to December 3.
