In section 1, Team Bulle rallied from a two-set deficit to force a draw against Myers.
Jo Takle, Joan Trevethan, Brenda Roberts and Carol Sewell combined well in the final two stanzas to level the scores with Nicki Myers in good touch for her team.
Di Wurtz and Helen Fuge steered Wurtz to a comfortable win over Spencer, while Rouvray defeated Jacob.
Trish Gallagher and Mona Doyle claimed the final set to see Pratt draw with Howard in section 2.
Staughton’s strong start was enough to hold off a Van der Vliet fightback in a four sets to two win.
Nell Showers was unbeaten for the winners while Judy Smith was best for Van der Vliet.
Trescowthick broke away in the final two sets to down Fletcher 4/32 to 2/26.
Helen O’Grady was the standout for Trescowthick, while Judy Musgrove was good for Fletcher.
Shiel was slow to start before running away with a four sets to two victory over Horsfall.
Denise Shiel, Margaret Fowler, Leigh Byrne and Louise McCulloch all contributed for Shiel, with Kate Horsfall in good touch for her team.
